Is your chicken delivered fresh or frozen?

All of our chicken is delivered fresh, never frozen. Our expert butchers prepare your order fresh at our North Yorkshire facility before it is dispatched. Because it arrives fresh, you enjoy maximum flavour and tenderness, and you have the flexibility to either cook it straight away or safely freeze it at home for later.

How do you keep the chicken fresh during delivery?

For nationwide deliveries, we use specialised, temperature-controlled, insulated packaging and heavy-duty chilled gel packs to maintain a strict cold chain. This ensures your poultry stays at a safe, refrigerator-cold temperature throughout transit, arriving at your doorstep in pristine, kitchen-ready condition. For local deliveries, your order is transported directly in our refrigerated vans, ensuring it remains perfectly chilled from our butchery to your door.
