What breed of cattle makes up the Mill Close herd?

Our herd is made up exclusively of Pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle. We chose this heritage British breed because Aberdeen Angus is world-renowned for its gentle temperament, ability to thrive on natural grass diets, and its ability to produce beef with exceptional natural marbling, tenderness, and rich flavour.

How are the cattle raised at Mill Close Farm?

Our cattle graze freely on the rolling fields of North Yorkshire following sustainable, regenerative farming principles. We use a rotational grazing system that improves pasture quality, promotes biodiversity, and actively supports soil health. Our animals are slow-grown at a natural pace with zero shortcuts and zero stress, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare.
