We’re based at Mill Close Farm, just outside Bedale in North Yorkshire. Our family has farmed here for over 100 years, and it’s the heart of everything we do.
What kind of meat do you produce?
We specialise in high-quality beef, particularly from our Aberdeen Angus cattle. Our meat is known for its marbling, tenderness, and rich flavour. We also offer lamb and pork, and poultry sourced from trusted local farms.
Do you sell to the public or just to businesses?
Both! We supply top restaurants, hotels, and retailers across the North of England, but you can also shop with us directly through our online shop or visit our farm shop here at Mill Close Farm.
What makes your meat different?
It all starts with how we raise our animals, with care, space to roam, and top-quality pasture. We also dry-age our beef to enhance its flavour and tenderness, and every cut is expertly butchered by our skilled team.
Do you follow sustainable or regenerative farming practices?
Yes, we’re deeply committed to both. We follow regenerative principles that build soil health, boost biodiversity, and work with nature. We also use solar power, recycle waste, treat our water naturally, and have planted a woodland and hedgerows to support wildlife.

Because everything in our meat boxes is prepared fresh by our butchers on the day of dispatch and delivered chilled (never pre-frozen), the entire contents are ideal for home freezing. Items are individually packed and sealed, allowing you to easily portion out your meals and freeze them immediately upon arrival.
Is this a one-off purchase, or do I have to sign up for a subscription?
